1 - How did you get interested in this topic?

The music and meditation series is for relaxation, Automatic Chakra Balance,™ help in sleeping, and vibrational attunement of mind, body, and spirit. It’s part of my larger body of work which basically is automatic energy shift. I’ve been playing the piano since I was four years old. I also am a violinist. My music was recently #1 on Music Choice’s Soundscapes cable TV channel and has been nominated for several New Age Reporter Lifestyle Awards. Everything in the body of work started with a guided meditation “A Healing Journey” in 1993. From there came my deck of angel cards, which are all scenes from the guided meditation. “A Healing Journey Guided Fantasy” is the last track on my first CD in the series.

2 - Tell us a bit about your background. What have you done in the past that relates to the topic.

I’m clairvoyant, clairaudient, and clairsentient. In addition, I’m also what is known as a voice recognition psychic and trance channel. This means that I can help clients via telephone, which is how I conducted my readings throughout my career. I retired from private readings to focus on building the spiritual toolbox that Spirit and I are almost finished building.

For many years I taught classes on how to balance the energy field and clear the chakras. As part of those classes, mediation was taught as well. Music was used in the classes as a way of clearing and balancing. Methods of integrating the mind, body, and spirit were implemented too. Integration is a necessary part of learning to manifest.

I write the Daily Channeled Message which posts on my website. There is a free spiritual forum there, with live chat and free psychic and online angel card readings, as well as a free spiritual advice column, “Dear Dyan.” My latest book Money and Manifesting teaches why the law of attraction and the power of positive thinking are not enough for effective manifesting, and exactly what to do about it. I also am the author of The Book of Daily Channeled Messages, Voice of the Angels Cookbook – Talk To Your Food! Intuitive Cooking and Fish Tale of Woe – Lost at Sea.

3 - What advice would you give to someone who is interested in your music and meditation series?

Even though the series gets progressively higher in vibration and in musical elements, I suggest that everyone start with whatever CD their intuition guides them to use. That’s why I purposefully did not number them. If one listens to their intuition they will know which CDs will benefit them the most.

4 - What do you see as the benefit to participating in groups and organizations that discuss this topic? My first thought would be networking opportunities and the chance for personal or business growth. What are your reasons?

Participating in groups and organizations is always helpful because you get the benefit of many points of view. Participation may keep you from staying stuck on your own perspective. It’s always good to learn and grow.

5 – What products do you offer would help a person who is interested in this topic?

In addition to offering the CD series as individual CDs, I also offer them together in the Meditation Basket. 6 - Who is the ideal person for these products? If each person that reads this was going to recommend these products to one person, what sort of person would they want to chose?

These products are ideal for anyone that loves music. They’re ideal for anyone who doesn’t know how to meditate, but they’re also a refreshing change of pace for the experienced student of meditation. They are really interesting journeys and the music and meditations are designed for automatic shift. I don’t believe anyone else is doing such a thing. All a person really has to do is listen. They are also integrative healing. I tried to take the perception of “work” out of it.

7 - What have you found to be the biggest stumbling block for people who want to learn more about this topic?

The biggest stumbling block is simply making a determination to change and shift. Meditation, change, growth, and transformation are often seen as “work.” It doesn’t have to be so.

8 - How would you suggest they can overcome that?

Try it for yourself and see what happens.

9 - What do you find is the biggest motivator to learn more about this topic?

The biggest motivation is that this works. If someone is really stuck and going around and around in their life, this will help. And it isn’t expensive and time consuming. And it helps people.

10 - Who is the “perfect” person to delve into this information?

Anyone who truly wants to move forward is the perfect person for this.

What inspired the book?

It’s a natural progression of my body of work which is mind, body, spirit transformation.

What makes this book special to you?

It’s at the top of the toolbox of spiritual tools that I’m building.

What makes this a book that other people MUST read and WHY?

There has been a lot of frustration around The Secret and the laws of attraction in general. People have come out of that feeling as if there is something missing and there is. A lot of people were left thinking that there was something wrong with them because they could not manifest. In fact the authors and teachers of The Secret have now come out with “The Missing Instruction Manual.” So, in my book I teach exactly why the Law of Attraction and the power of positive thinking on their own are not enough to manifest. I am teaching people the real secrets to manifesting.

What people NEED to read this book and WHY?

Anyone that has tried to implement the laws of attraction and has gotten nowhere is a the perfect person to read my book. This book teaches exactly what to do to learn to manifest. This is not another book about the laws of attraction. In fact it’s really about everything but that. The laws of attraction and positive thinking are only one factor in learning to manifest.

What sparks your creativity? Any tips to help others spark their own creativity?

Creativity is a combination of factors. Mostly it’s an energy flow. When energy is flowing smoothly on a pathway, creativity abounds. My advice is to learn how to unblock your energy pathways. Then there is no limitation to creativity.

What has been the biggest stumbling block in your writing? Can you share some tips to help others get past similar problems?

I just don’t really have any trouble writing. But for those who do, I would again say, open up an energy flow. Nothing can flow through a clogged pipe.

What do you think motivates people to become authors? What motivated you to get into this unusual industry?

I actually am not sure what motivates anyone to become an author. I think it is probably something they feel in their soul. I’ve just always written. It’s a natural way to communicate. I had the blessing of a really excellent Creative Writing teacher in high school. I think that teachers can have a great influence.

Tell me about the most unusual things you have done to promote any books?

I really wish I had a great and funny story about selling books out of the trunk of a car or exchanging books for something else, but I just don’t. I’ve done two virtual book tours. This is the third and I think it’s an unusual way to promote books, but quickly becoming not so unusual. It’s a great vehicle.

FICTION - If there is a setting, tell us how you decided on that setting and what you did to create a complete and vivid setting for your readers?

FICTION - What inspires you about the hero or heroine in your book? What makes them memorable for the reader? What motivates the hero and/or heroine? You can include information about both if you want.

FICTION - Is there a villain or something that causes friction in your story? Tell us about what or who it is and how that contributes to the story. Any details about conflict and friction is good information to know.

NON FICTION - Why are you the BEST person to write this book? What in your background or in your research makes you qualified to do justice to this topic?

I’m a psychic and energy healer. In order to manifest we need to understand how energy works. In order to manifest money we need to understand how the energy of money works.

NON FICTION - If a potential reader thinks that your book wouldn't interest them, what would you say to convince them to buy? I'm thinking something better than "Its the greatest book ever." Give me something more specific :)

I think the only reason someone would think this wouldn’t interest them would be because they thought it was just another book on the power of positive thinking and how to work with the Law of Attraction. I would tell them that this is completely different and there is information in the book that perhaps they’ve never heard before. I would tell them that this information would help them get unstuck from whatever endless cycle they feel they are in.

NON FICTION - Why does the topic of your book interest you? Why would it interest potential readers? Give us a hook to reel in new readers.

The topic interests me because I know it will help a lot of disillusioned people who were sold half a “secret.” It would interest potential readers because it’s fresh information and also because of the way that it’s written. There is fiction wrapped around information and there is a very specific purpose for that. It begins the process of left brain/right brain integration and that is one of the very first steps to manifesting. So, in simply reading the book, you’re going to have an automatic shift.

NON FICTION Is there a way to tie your book topic to current events? If so, tell us about how you could do that. I have a blog to feature information and examples about tying books into current events that might be a good place for you to promote your book.

1 - How did you get interested in the topic that’s featured in your book?

My topic is money and manifesting. I got interested in this topic because it was a natural segue from the rest of my body of work which is about spiritual growth and transformation and integration. Also, I am a clairvoyant counselor and I had a lot of clients that were having trouble with manifesting. They had read and tried to apply the principles in The Secret and were getting nowhere. I wanted to teach people how to really manifest. It doesn’t necessarily take a year. It doesn’t take endless DVD watching and seminar attending. Once you get it, everything just clicks and you’re on your way. That was my goal – to write something that would help people just get it automatically without all the hype and frustration.

2 - Tell us a bit about your background. What have you done in the past that relates to your book and that topic?

As I mentioned I am a clairvoyant counselor. I’ve built a toolbox of spiritual tools. Anyone can come in and pick up whatever tool they need to help them progress on their healing journey. There is something for everyone no matter what level they are at. At the base of the toolbox is a deck of spiritual divination cards – Voice of the Angels – A Healing Journey Spiritual Cards. In the middle is a series of music and meditation CDs for healing, Automatic Chakra Balance,™ and vibrational attunement of mind body and spirit. At the top of that is Money and Manifesting. And I have two more things that I’m working on now that will complete the toolbox.

3 - What advice would you give to someone who is interested in your topic?

My advice is to for people to begin to understand that sometimes they are what is in their own way. Limited thinking and limited belief systems get in the way of manifesting. One must open to infinite possibilities. There are no limitations unless you believe there are.

4 - What do you see as the benefit to participating in groups and organizations? My first thought would be networking opportunities and the chance for personal and business growth. What are your reasons?

Being a part of groups and organizations gives one so many different viewpoints. This in itself is valuable because it helps you expand in many ways.

5 - Who is the ideal person to read your book? If each person that reads this was going to recommend your book to one person, what sort of person would they want to chose?

The ideal person to read my book is someone who feels very stuck and genuinely does not understand why. Also, the person who is maybe just on the brink of understanding, but isn’t quite there. This book will help them get to where they need to go to be able to create all they desire. If someone was going to recommend this book to someone, that person would be a friend that seems stuck and can’t seem to get out of the place they are in.

6 - What do you think ignites a person’s creativity?

Creativity is a combination of the integration of mind, body, and spirit. Most people maybe wouldn’t phrase it that way, but that’s what it is. When you’re focused and balanced, you’re opening a pathway for creativity to flow.

7 - What have you found to be the biggest stumbling block for people who want to start writing?

Focus. People have a lot of trouble quieting the chatter of the conscious mind and simply focusing on what they want to do, whether it be writing or anything else. It’s important to learn how to focus. You can’t really get anywhere efficiently if you’re taking detours down a bunch of side streets.

8 - How would you suggest they can overcome that?

Learn how to focus. That starts with learning how to breathe and focusing on breathing and quieting the mind. Has anyone ever heard, “Be still and know that I am God?” Nothing can get through the static of a bunch of white noise.

9 - What do you find is the biggest motivator for people to succeed? Is it money, security, desire for fame or something else?

It really depends on one’s definition of success. If someone really believes that money is the definition of success, they need to learn to work with the energy of money. As far as motivation, one should really study what their motivation is. In terms of money as a definition of success, sometimes that is exactly what is in the way of “success.” We’ve been taught that our self worth equates to these pieces of paper and that’s what’s really wrong here. Certainly we are worth more than pieces of paper. The motivation for success really needs to come from inside and not from the need for outside validation.

10 - Who is the “perfect” person to read your book?

The perfect person to read my book is anyone that really wants to know how to manifest, and anyone that really wants to know the real secrets, not just half the truth.

11 - Is there anything else you would like to share with us?

Yes. Manifesting isn’t difficult. It really isn’t a secret. And when you read the book you will suddenly know that and you will close the book with the knowledge and confidence to finally get to where you want to be. No hype. Just the truth.
